Just because you might be out of town on race day doesn’t mean you can’t participate!
Virtual participants will be asked to pay a reduced registration fee, and will complete the Survive the Night Triathlon distances on their own. Participants can compete as either a team or as an individual. All participants in the virtual race will receive the same race swag, T-shirt, and finisher medal that on-site participants will receive. The virtual race distances must be completed within the 24 hour window beginning at 7:00pm on Friday June 16, 2017 and 7:00pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Participants will be asked to submit validation that they completed the virtual race either in the form of an electronic file (i.e. Garmin, Trainingpeaks, Strava, etc.) or other training log, etc.
Cost of Registration = $30
Solo participants will be asked to complete a minimum of 1/10th of the entire distance of the Survive the Night Triathlon – 15 miles. This can be completed in any fashion as long as it totals 15 miles and consists of running, biking and swimming. Most commonly, participants might choose to swim 400 yds, bike 12 miles, and run 2.6 miles.
If participants wish to combine and create a team, each team member should register separately, but will have the opportunity to create a team and split up the distances as you wish.
